SPECIAL COURSES
Beginners One
This Course provides Students with a basic understanding of the linguistic elements necessary for effective communication and for informal settings.
This course is for students with minimal or no knowledge of Italian.
Course Details
Beginners One is made up of Units 1 - 7
Each unit of study includes language and socio-cultural experiences.
Complementary material and resources will be provided by the school.
When
Tuesday: 7pm - 9pm
Beginners Two
Beginners Two continues the development of the four macro-skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Beginners One is a prerequisite for this Course or equivilant knowledge of the language.
Course Details
Beginners Two is made up of Units 8 - 14
Each unit of study includes language and socio-cultural experiences.
Complementary material and resources will be provided by the school.
When
Thursday: 7pm - 9pm
Intermediate One
Students will continue developing the four macro skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing with the emphasis on understanding and communicating in modern Italian.
This course is for students who have some language skills in Italian, either through previous experience or for those who have studied the Beginners One and Two Courses at the School.

Intermediate One is made up of Units 15 - 21
Each unit of study includes language and socio-cultural experiences.
Complementary material and resources will be provided by the school.
When
Wednesday: 7pm - 9pm
Intermediate Two
Students will further develop the four macro skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing and achieve greater confidence with understanding and speaking Italian.
Intermediate One is a prerequisite for this Course or equivalent
knowledge of the language.

Intermediate Two is made up of Units 22 - 30
Each unit of study includes language and socio-cultural experiences.
Complementary material and resources will be provided by the school.

Wednesday: 10am - 12pm
Advanced One
Students will continue to develop higher levels of the four macro skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing with the emphasis on spontaneous communication using all facets of the language (use of conditional/ subjunctive etc).

Advanced One is made up of Units 1 - 6
Each unit of study includes language and socio-cultural experiences.
Complementary material and resources will be provided by the school.

Monday: 4pm - 6pm
Advanced Open
Students will continue to develop higher levels of the four macro skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing with the emphasis on spontaneous communication using all facets of the language (use of conditional/ subjunctive etc).

Each unit of study includes language and socio-cultural experiences.

Introduction to Italian
20hrs total | 10 weeks
Always Wanted to Learn Italian?
This 10 week Course will introduce you to the Italian language and allow you to discover the joy and the benefits of speaking another language.
Course Details
This Course is designed to give you the opportunity to experience the Italian language learning style and giving you a better understanding of linguistic elements necessary for effective communication and for informal settings.

10 weeks 2 hours each lesson
20 hours total
When
No Introduction to Italian will be held this Semester.

If you are unable to attend a lesson,
6 business hours notice is required.
If the tutor is unable to attend the lesson, a replacement class will be organised immediately.
Italian in the Kitchen
3hrs
In this course students will learn the basics of Italian cuisine. Making fresh egg pasta, bruschetta, some sauces including bolognese, carbonara and Napoli. Participants will take home their choice samples of what was prepared. The session will conclude with a wonderful Italian meal prepared by the participants.
When
No Italian in the Kitchen will be held this Semester.
